Six residents. Ten thousand square feet. One life, attended to with quiet precision.
Designed by university professor Howarth Drake and set into the alpine village of Wrightwood, the Castle was conceived as a private home — then quietly licensed for the people we love most. No corridors of strangers. No institutional hum. Just space, light, and care, tailored.

The Residence
Hand-painted ceilings. A formal dining hall lit by chandelier. A commercial kitchen prepared for chef-led meals and dietary needs alike. Wrightwood Castle was built to gather people — and that instinct hasn't left.
Step inside →Care
Every resident begins with a pre-admission appraisal — personality, routines, abilities, hobbies, food, mobility, family goals. From that conversation we compose a daily living program that is uniquely theirs, and only theirs.

Amenities
A summer room flooded with light. A library for quiet afternoons. A family recreation room with pool table and arcade for the grandchildren. An elevator throughout. Private bathrooms in every suite. A patio open to the pines.

Glass-walled, lace-curtained, made for slow mornings and afternoon tea.

Chandelier, hand-painted ceiling, chef-prepared service.

Professional ranges and dietary stations for every meal.
The Setting
Tucked at 5,935 feet in the San Gabriels, Wrightwood is a village of pine, snowfall, and quiet roads. The Castle sits along Highway 2, framed by forest and seasons — a setting that does what good architecture cannot do alone: it heals the nervous system.
